This function works in the same way as the Single Pass version, but on the first pass only size is adjusted and that by the average size variation between frames minus the extremes. The second pass works like the Single Pass version of the function. Automatic Alignment (Two Pass) is especially designed for situations where the individual pictures are taken at regular intervals with respect to the Z axis, or focus settings. It assumes that the size varies linearly and regularly between frames, dropping the extreems means that some mistakes on the part of CZM are dropped and may result in a more acurate alignment.
With the 10th of March 2007 edition this function will not do unnecessary work and may skip some stages and run more quickly with some stacks.
