With the default settings this function computes the average of all Used Frames without using the DFT buffers, so it is quicker. By altering the Low Gain and High Attenuation a degree of Dynamic Range adjustments can be made. The menu version brings up three dialog boxes in succetion for parameter input. The Brightness parameter can be used to prevent oversaturation or to lighten an astronomical picture.
