This is a simple task, a small picture containing the text is created in an art program, this is imported into CZM, positioned using one of the methods described in Making a Slide Show, and then overlaid on the picture using Paste Active over. If you wish to apply the same text to every frame a Macro will do the job. To apply different text to each frame a set of text frames is loaded at the top of the stack and a slightly more complex macro invoked.
1. Load the frame
2. Import some text
3. Make Transparent
4. Position the text,
point with the mouse where you would like it's middle to be and press '1' then
Return
point with the mouse at the middle of the text and press '3' then Set and Use
Parameters
5. Copy Frame to picture, i.e. goto frame then Rectangle Menu->Paste Active Over
6. Go to text frame and Paste Active Over again.
7. The original frame is still as it was, without text, so either save the Picture or replace the Frame.
1. Load the frames
2. Import some text
3. Make Transparent
4. Position the text,
point with the mouse where you would like it's middle to be and press '1' then
Return
point with the mouse at the middle of the text and press '3' then Set and Use
Parameters
5. Load this Macro Set Add Text.czm
6. Click Macro Menu->Add Text
Download the macro set mentioned above and save it to the same folder as CombineZM.exe before starting work. To use this Macro Set the text must be the Top Frame in the stack.
You could overlay anything, circles, arrows, scale lines etc. not just text. You could also scale the text before adding but watch out shrinking is OK but upsizing makes 'blocky' characters.
